Well everyone, this is it. I am done. I must admit that I had a lot of fun putting this one together. I have learned a tremendous amount about gaming in education. Let me know what you think.

  1. George,
Cool graphics and special effects! I love the presentation and learned a lot. I must admit that I have not explored gaming that much, but I plan to now! Thanks for the good information.

Excellent job! Games and virtual environments are emerging technologies that are becoming quite popular in schools and classrooms throughout the country. Games are very popular in archades and on the internet.

    Thanks for sharing,

  7. I love how you had the game streaming throughout your video. Very interesting. I use games in my classroom to teach money managment skills. Your video was interesting and it held my attention. Many educators feel videos do not serve a purpose in education. I feel different. Also, your use of citations was very relevant.

Wonderful! I don’t know if I was impressed more by the graphics (just because I am clueless in that area) or the information. You presented a strong case on a topic that many will change their minds about! Great!

      Hi Tammy,

Thanks! I used Adobe Flash to build most of the video effects and then compiled it with Camtasia. The game footage I took with a program called FRAPS which is a free video capture software. It was a lot of work!
